LCM Network Newsletter
6/21/2023 Edition
Welcome to the LCM Network
Following the LCM company page, you can get early news of new roles, and even roles “outside” the LCM Network may be shared. It may be less pretty and curated, but you may hear of a role a day or two sooner--and those days can make all the difference! You can open the page via the link below and click the 'Follow' button on the main page.

NEW(-ish)—the all-in-one job list!! Moving forward, all jobs will be on one spreadsheet 🤯. The link will be shared in the weekly newsletter. This link will share a copy of this spreadsheet so you can filter as you wish!
This spreadsheet has a whopping 85 roles where you can get directly in front of the hiring manager (+ a ton of other finance and accounting roles in the US and Canada that were too many to list here) and 25 roles where you can apply through easy links. That’s 110 roles this week direct to your inbox! If you signed up today after delivery of this week’s newsletter, message for access to the spreadsheets.
Spreadsheet Tabs!!
Tab 1: Startup Roles Usually high-level roles in cutting-edge technologies! 14 this week.
Tab 2: Web3 Roles Roles throughout Web3 and worldwide—often remote! 26 this week!
Tab 3: Multi-Industry Roles US and Canada-based tech, engineering, and finance roles across multiple industries. These are more niche roles, so searching for keywords with a good ol’ CTRL+F may be the best way to check 😉 45 roles!
Tab 4: Direct Apply Roles Tech and Finance roles throughout the US, where you can view and apply by clicking on the links. This list is a little shorter this week both because there are so many good roles where you can be directly connected, and these jobs are starting to move quicker—a good thing overall! Jobs are hiring. 12 new roles, 25 total. 😊
Not Finding a Fit Right Now?
Complete this form with a description of your perfect fit. I'll see if there are matches right now and try to include more of these types of roles in the future!
Job Tracking Spreadsheet (remix) - Track Recruiters!
Click on the above to get your personal and customizable job and recruiter tracker.
Enter the job information—I suggest waiting until you have the first contact with a hiring manager or recruiter for a screening or interview or limiting to only a few very high-priority job applications. Tracking all applications would probably be overwhelming!
Red columns will automatically fill in suggested dates for follow-up based on your last contact, so I suggest not filling in dates there—change the date of last contact to remind yourself when to follow up!
There is also a status update column where you can select where you are in the process and automatically color code the row for a quick visual of where you are with each job.
Lastly, a Pivot Table shows how many (and what percent) of your applications are in each status. If it’s too depressing, you can hide it!
As a new addition, you can also track recruiters who have reached out to you or who you have contacted and who have replied to you. Remember that targeted messages to targeted recruiters will most likely be answered. I would only track recruiters you have engaged with in a bi-directional conversation as these recruiters are aligned, responsive, or both.
Once you have found a recruiter who is responsive to you, or ideally before you reach out, ensure you know what they recruit for. Are they working as an in-house recruiter for one company or as an agency recruiter for multiple companies? What industries and job types do they typically recruit for?
Nest, figure out what, where, and how they employ people primarily—some will have a variety, some will only have a few, but it is just as important to know what they DON’T recruit for to know if it’s worth your and their time. Some may specialize in w2, some C2C, some short-term or long-term contracts, and some may have a variety. Some also may be limited to geographic areas, time zones, remote/onsite, etc., so it helps if this also aligns.
Keep track of how to get in touch or use resources the recruiter provides. If they are aligned with what you want, they are also more likely to have relevant resources to your job search.
Lastly, keep track of when you’ve been in contact to know if it makes sense to follow up. This last part is up to your discretion for sure, but if you are actively engaged with a recruiter, try at least twice (and probably two different methods) when you follow up before considering them to no longer be a good resource. But, if you have, and they continue not to connect, the ghost tag may be appropriate to ensure you move to better resources. You may even try again for those better contacts that have gone cold to see if they have pivoted in a new direction, had a short-term issue they had to deal with, or no longer recruit. Better to know than not know!
